To promote their 2006-07 season, Village Theatre commissioned a series of watercolor paintings by Elizabeth Stam. The paintings shared a bright color palette, but were different in style and subject matter. By using just a slice of each painting, I allowed them to more easily coexist. The single slices made nice page accents, and the slices, together, made a dynamic and energetic cover image.
