front yard

Once the back yard was well underway, we turned our attention to the front. This is, after all, a key view each morning and evening.

I centered my design on a combination of Euphorbia and Miscanthus (still pretty small in this picture), two great foliage plants that look good most of the year . A variegated Liriope complements the brand-new housepaint color, and I included some Verbena for summer color. The sculpture is the perfect focal point.
