Juliet's Balcony

This Queen Anne client had a great view, a new deck and a bare retaining wall.

I planned an easy-care planting for him — full of plants like Ceanothus, Rosemary, Rockrose, Euphorbia and Hebe — to give his hillside deck a Mediterranean feel. I also included some tall grasses, which will move in the wind and catch the light.
